This is a short historic of how we started this company and where are we now:

2007

The beginning of the road

The innovative IT company PBSoft LLC was created in 2007 by the group of leading scientists from the Institute of the Cytology and Genetics Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences (ICG SB RAS) with the aim of popularization, promotion and commercialization of scientific researches of the ICG SB RAS in the field of bioinformatics. 

At the same year PBSoft was awarded with the funding for the "Development of software for the integration of knowledge about associative interactions in molecular genetic systems" project by the Foundation for Assistance to Small Innovative Enterprises in Science and Technology (FASIE).

2007

Got our first award

The PBSoft company takes part in the First Siberian Venture Fair and becomes a winner in the "Perspective Business" nomination.
2007

The German/Russian Virtual Network

Our company becomes the official member of the Russian/German Virtual Network of Bioinformatics "Computational Systems Biology".
2007 - 2010

Databases and Software development

From 2007 upto 2010 the PBSoft company succesfully carries out number of state projects on studies of protein and genome sequences, reconstruction of gene networks, mathematical modeling of their dynamical behaviour and the development of specialized algorithms/software/databases with the help of our uniq text- data- mining approaches, gains four certificates of state registration of intellectual property. Also the company takes active participation in the scientific and educational activities such as organization of schools for students and young scientists, scientific conferences, seminars, round tables etc.
2010 - 2014

Syspatho FP7-EU project

In 2010 the company joins a consortium of 11 companies and research institutes from the Europe, Turkey and Russia, and successfully gains the EU funding with "Syspatho: New Algorithms for Host Pathogen Systems Biology" project.
2014

The Associative Network Discovery System

PBSoft brings to market the ANDSystem software tool.
