The main focus of this interdisciplinary school-seminar was a timely problems of applied supercomputer calculations in resolution of bioinformatics, evolutionary and system biology issues. Leading specialists from Russia and other countries gave lectures on timely issues that arise in parallel computations in biology, perticularly in phylogenetic tree building, structural functional analysis of macromolecules, systems biology, data and text-mining systems biology.
A session of oral and poster reports of young scientists was held in the frames of past School. The best reporters were awarded with prizes. The attendees of the courses and workshops received certificates.
